If it's your first time at Westmoreland Baptist, you are our honored guest. To help answer a few questions before visiting and to help you get to know us a little better here are a few frequently asked questions to help plan your visit.
How long is the service?
Services last about one hour and 15 minutes. We start by singing three to four songs. Then the speaker preaches. If you want to hear our preaching style, check out our sermons page to hear past sermons.
If you’re visiting for the first time, you’ll want to give yourself a few extra minutes to stop by our Welcome Center after the service. You are a very important person to us! One of our pastors will be there and would love to meet you, answer any questions you may have, and give you a gift.
What should I wear?
Don't feel like you have to dress up. You will be greeted warmly and made to feel welcomed and comfortable with whatever you choose to wear. You might see folks here in shorts and t-shirts to others in full business suits.
Can I attend if I'm _________?
Fill in the blank with whatever fear you have about not being accepted: divorced, single parent, broke, recovering addict, gay, transgender, atheist, skeptic, etc. Everyone is welcome at WBC. So come as you are, and we’ll see you on Sunday!
Where do I go when I get there?
When you get here feel free to park where ever you would like. There are no assigned seats or parking spaces here at WBC.
Once you have parked you might find it more convenient to enter the door that is labeled Guest & Welcome Center. Here you will be greeted by one of the members on our Hospitality Team who will be glad to answer any further questions for you.
If you are here for our Sunday Morning LifeGroups (9:45am) and have children one of our team members will gladly show you to our children's center where our trained and qualified children's ministry workers will care for and teach your children. If you would like to keep your children with you that is acceptable as well.
What do you do for kids?
In WBC Kids, children 5th grade and younger experience Jesus on their level. WBC Kids is a safe, age-appropriate environment where kids have their own service with singing, a Bible lesson, crafts, games and a snack.
We also have an equipped nursery that one of our team members can show you to as well.
